The Planning and Zoning Board will nominate and vote to appoint a Vice Chair to serve for the remainder of the 2025 calendar year.

A request has been filed by Justin Patel with Rinku Investments LLC. for a zoning map amendment for the property located at 0 Bunyan Kessler. (Parcel ID: R2650006).  The 1.12 acre parcel is owned by Thomas Thibault.  The applicant is requesting to rezone the property from OC (Office Commercial) to R3 (Residential Multi-Family).

An application has been submitted by James Story with ARCO Design/Build requesting site plan approval for a 98,250-square-foot expansion of the Sewon facility. The subject property, owned by the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority, is located at 1000 Sewon EV Road.  The parcel is zoned PUD. (Parcel #:R2840002)
